My Pumas-AI Perspective
I have truly had an amazing experience starting from the very first day I joined and my first meeting. I knew right away that I was on a speedboat, but this helped me to ramp up my pace and style of working. With each going day, I learned the art of perfection and minute details, which I seemed to overlook initially. But these details make all the difference.
I worked on various projects starting from the tutorials, such as, PKPDBook - Gabrielsson, etc. It has been a great experience of learning the detailed intricacies of every project.
The best experience I had was working on two projects. The first one being the PKPDBook by Gabrielsson, which in itself is brilliant. I was able to learn and replicate all those exercises in Pumas. Through this, I learned a lot of fundamental concepts. Understanding these concepts, I was able to visualize the errors and changes that each parameter can cause to the PK profile of the drug. After the simulation exercises, I came to the fitting of the data, which was even more interesting, intriguing, and challenging. Lastly, the Lyv Project has helped me understand how modeling and simulation tools can be developed even from literature information and finally end with a bedside tool for the physician.
The advantage of working at Pumas-AI is the software itself. Since all the features are combined in a single tool it makes it very convenient. I now realize the time and effort it takes to build an app from scratch. This also changed my notion that a GUI-based app is not always the most comfortable, because it does not give the user options to explore ideas and learn.
The biggest thing I have learned from the Team at Pumas-AI is to strive for excellence. This learning will surely help me achieve a better position in my career in the future. Thanks again to each one who has played a role in building me from where I was yesterday and where I will be tomorrow.
Good luck to the team at Pumas-AI.
