Machine Learning for Exploratory Data Analysis and Model Diagnosis in Oncology

Visualizing large longitudinal datasets is a non-trivial task.

In this webinar, we will showcase an application of machine learning in clustering longitudinal data from a published oncology study (Laleh et al. 2022, PLOS Computational Biology). Clustering is an unsupervised machine learning task which we can use to aid with the exploratory data analysis of longitudinal data to:

  1. More easily visualize the various patterns in the data,
  2. Automatically identify sub-populations in the response (e.g. responders and non-responders)
  3. Identify potential outliers.

Another use of the resulting clusters is to stratify model diagnostics by the cluster to understand which sub-populations are fitted better than others, aiding the model development process.

To better serve our communities in different time zones, we are hosting this webinar at the following times!
