Keynote

Date: January 29, 2026 | 09:15 – 10:00 IST

Speaker: Dr. Amit Roy, Vice President – Scientific & Strategic Consulting

Title: Impact of Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD) in Oncology

Oncology drug development is notoriously challenging — less than 5% of Phase 1 investigational drugs are ultimately approved. Moreover, the dosage regimens of approved drugs are often sub-optimal — hence the FDA Project Optimus. This talk will discuss some of the major challenges in oncology drug development, and present case studies in which innovative MIDD approaches enabled impactful enhancements of the oncology drug development paradigm.
